L Dopa and other strange tales
http://www.billsadler.org/funky_faultline.mp3
"Funky Faultline" is the first in a trilogy of pieces based on the fictional career of a musician who went by the pseudonym of "L Dopa." The trilogy was inspired by creative work with the late Mike Z, who also programmed the drum beats and played synth bass on this first piece. All other parts were played and sung/rapped by me.

"Another One" is the second piece of the L Dopa trilogy and chronicles his growing dissatisfaction with the corporate music business. Mike Z also programmed beats on the piece. All other parts are by me.

"Hall of Fame" is the final piece of the trilogy and describes the L Dopa character's break from corporate entertainment. My friend Karl Cordoza (who appears on many of my tunes) plays the bass. I did the rest. The basic riff was inspired by Jimi Hendrix's "Foxy Lady" and my lame sequence programming skills.

"Soul Fusion" is my first truly rapped piece. Karl Kordoza (KC) plays bass, and Kelly Wilson sings harmony. Another fictional story of suburban life in the 1990's.

"Insecurity" is a odd piece that has a hook that still won't leave me alone. Done alone at 308 Vallejo Street, Petaluma, CA, as were most of the other pieces posted here in mid 2006.

"The Beast" was influenced by Jack Nicholson's characters in "The Witches of Eastwick" and "Wolf." David Bowie's touch is omnipresent.

A silly song with a moral and a collection of wierd characters.

Pretty much sums up the non Jamaica born, non island set. No blame. Perseverance furthers.

I like rabbits. Inspired by a cross country trip in a 20 foot moving truck just before Christmas 1993. Some parts are fictional and added to provide characater.
